Overview
Mechanically polished concrete is a fully bonded system — the floor is the slab, refined rather than covered. Progressive diamond grinding opens the surface, lithium densification hardens it through the wear layer, and successive polishing steps bring it to the specified gloss. The result is a floor with no coating to delaminate, no seams to fail and no replacement cycle to budget for.
For commercial work the variable that matters is consistency across a large floor plate, not the finish on a sample. We control that by agreeing the exposure level and gloss against a sample panel on the actual slab before the main works start, then holding the same head pressure, grit sequence and densifier rate across every pour in the building.

What we will tell you up front
Polished concrete reveals the slab rather than hiding it. Aggregate distribution, colour variation and the position of construction joints are set at the pour, not during polishing — so the earlier we are engaged, the more control there is over the finished result. Where a slab has already been poured without polishing in mind, we assess it on site and give a written view on the achievable finish before anyone commits to a specification.
