Carpark Coating & Deck Flooring in Adelaide

Carpark decks take turning tyre traffic, water ingress and — on exposed levels — full UV. They are also almost always live: you cannot close every level at once, so the works have to be staged and the coating has to be trafficable fast.

  • UV-stable topcoats for exposed decks
  • Aggressive slip resistance to ramps and turning bays
  • Fast-return systems to minimise deck closure
  • Line marking, bay numbering and directional marking
  • Staged level-by-level delivery on live carparks

What decides the specification

01

Turning traffic and tyre marking

Power steering on a stationary wheel tears at a coating and standard epoxies mark under hot tyres. Ramps and turning bays need a build-up specified for it.

02

UV stability on exposed decks

Epoxy chalks and yellows in direct sun. Exposed top decks need a UV-stable polyurethane or polyaspartic topcoat.

03

Ramps need aggressive slip resistance

Graded ramps, wet from vehicles, are the highest-risk surface in the building. Broadcast aggregate is specified to a tested classification.

04

Staged delivery on live decks

Level by level or bay by bay, with fast-return systems where the tenancy cannot lose the parking.
