Sectors

Every sector fails a floor differently

A warehouse floor fails at the joints. A food-grade floor fails at the wall junction. A carpark deck fails on the ramp. What follows is what actually decides the specification in each — and the systems we put against it.

Builders, developers and facility managers

Warehouse & Industrial Flooring

Warehouse floors fail at the joints, under the racking legs and wherever a forklift turns. The specification question is rarely which product looks best — it is whether the build-up can carry the point loads, survive the turning traffic and be repaired in a shutdown window without stopping the operation.

Shopfitters and fit-out contractors

Retail & Hospitality Fit-out Flooring

Fit-out programs do not move. The floor sits on the critical path — nothing else finishes until it is down — and it usually has to happen inside a trading centre, at night, with a hoarding line and a centre management induction. The specification matters, but hitting the date matters more.

Office & Showroom Flooring

In an office or showroom the floor is a specified architectural finish, and it will be judged the way one is — under downlights, across a large open plate, next to a joinery run. Variation that would be invisible in a warehouse is a defect here.

Food producers, commercial kitchens and their builders

Food & Beverage Grade Flooring

A food-grade floor has to survive daily caustic washdown, hot water or steam, and an auditor. Seamless is not a preference here — every joint, crack and floor-to-wall junction is a place bacteria can sit, and that is what gets written up.

Facility managers, head contractors and project managers

Healthcare & Education Flooring

Hospitals, aged care and schools rarely close for a floor. The work happens in stages, around occupied wards and running classrooms, with infection control or child-safety requirements that constrain how and when we can work — and a slip classification that is not negotiable.

Property and facility managers, developers and strata

Carpark Coating & Deck Flooring

Carpark decks take turning tyre traffic, water ingress and — on exposed levels — full UV. They are also almost always live: you cannot close every level at once, so the works have to be staged and the coating has to be trafficable fast.
